My last night in the UAE, we headed back into Dubai for Afternoon Tea at the Burj al Arab (the sailboat looking building - self proclaimed 7 star hotel!). The building was really AMAZING - both inside and outside! We sat down to tea and it was way more than just tea :) There was a 7-course meal along with it! We had an exotic fruit salad, sushi, chicken satay, dim sum, noodle & beef soup, some rice pudding, and to top it off an assortment of chocolates! While we ate all the yummy courses, we started off with a nice hot tea and ended it with a refreshing iced tea :) Although Tanya couldn't join us because she wasn't feeling well :( it was still a lovely afternoon!
We topped the afternoon off with Julian playing in the jumping water fountain - he was such a cutie and was all wet from sticking his hands in it!! I thought the guard was going to yell at him, but who can really yell at that cute little face!
