Swiss iCandee: Boardstock in Zug!

So apparently every year there is a festival type thing called Boardstock, where people do all kinds of stuff on a board (which then the name makes sense!)....its right on the Zug lake, so there were also some wakeboarders and they had this contraption set up so you were wakeboarding on an electronic rope that brings you back and forth across a jump - most of the guys chickened out on the jump, but there were a couple brave guys that made the leap! They also had a blob set up in the lake (where you can launch someone into the water!), half pipe things for riding your bike, skate boarding, etc! There were lots of food tents and drink tents - including the Desperado Dome - which Desperado is beer flavored with tequila! Tastes similar to Corona I think, but what do I know lol! It was also the 10th anniversary of Boardstock so the Swiss flying team (similar to the Blue Angels of the USA), flew their planes all around above the lake, did tricks and flips and flying formation! At the end they went away for a bit and a couple planes came back and the drivers of the planes (that were now parked somewhere) jumped out of like 2 or 3 planes and parachuted down to us! Some landed in the water and some were able to guide themselves right onto the boat and avoid the cold water all together!

It was a pretty cool show...and after hanging around all day, we then watched in the square they had some kind of battle for the street performers, which was entertaining to watch....and some of it was in french, some in english, and most in German, but there were some guys standing behind us occasionally translating for us since the Brit and American still don't know German haha! Afterwards we migrated to some bars in Zug - some I have never seen before - and there were palm trees outside - kind of reminded me of bars in California or something the way they looked - crazy! Either way we had to get inside because it started raining like crazy - thankfully I had an umbrella, but it totally got stolen in the bar!! I was surprised being that its Switzerland, but oh well at least its just an umbrella!
